Myofascial/Deep massage uses deeper pressures and techniques to stretch and repair the connective tissue between your muscles; called fascia. It helps your body heal properly from injuries and can restore range of motion. Traditional positions face down and face up. You will feel immediate release after the session and may feel sore for 48 - 72 hours after. Epsom salt baths are suggested after your session. Always make sure to hydrate!
CranioSacral Therapy is a hands-on therapy improving health and function. Lighter forces in this therapy are used to produce better palpations and treatment. The CranioSacral system is a recent discovery, discovered by Dr. John Upledger in the mid 1970s. 'Cranio' refers to the cranium and 'Sacral' refers to the sacrum. Both of these areas have relation with each other. CST (craniosacral threapy) techniques work to assist the cranial bones, the sacrum, the central nervous system, the spinal fluid, cranial-fluid, and everything else related to the craniosacral system.
In this session, you will be positioned side-lying and face up. For longer session, the position starts face down, side-lying to face up. The body will get addressed twice. Both groins will be addressed to release the sacrum and any sciatic issues. You will feel immediate release after the session and may feel sore for 48 - 72 hours. Epsom salt baths are suggested after your session or in the morning of the next day. Always make sure to hydrate!
